Where to Apply
You can now apply for an Afghanistan e-Visa entirely online through the official government portal: Afghanistan e-Visa Portal.
The e-Visa system was launched in 2026 and allows most travelers to submit their application, upload documents, and pay online without visiting an embassy or consulate in person.
For travelers who prefer to apply in person, Afghanistan maintains embassies and consulates in several major cities, including Islamabad, Dubai, Istanbul, Tehran, Delhi, and London.

Timeline
