How to Apply
The most reliable way to obtain an Afghan visa is through an Afghan embassy or consulate in your home country. Processing typically takes 5–10 business days, though it can vary. Some embassies require an in-person interview.
E-Visa for international travelers which can be applied online and usually takes 1-3 weeks.
Through Kantiva Travel
When you book a tour with us, we provide a support letter confirming your itinerary, accommodation, and purpose of visit. This significantly strengthens your application and is often required by embassies.
Important Notes
Please ensure that you have obtained a valid visa before traveling to Afghanistan, as entry may be denied without one.
We recommend keeping both digital and printed copies of your visa with you throughout your journey for ease of reference.
Visa extensions can be arranged in Kabul; however, the process may take some time, so we encourage you to plan accordingly
Kantiva Tip: Apply for your visa at least 4 weeks before your intended travel date. Last-minute applications are risky and may delay your trip.
